   Dear Gin and family,
   I’m so deeply sorry for your loss. Bern was only ever wonderful to me and it saddens me to know our paths will never cross again. He was the wittiest man I’ve known to walk this planet and as i sit here I can here his laugh. The way he used to call you ‘Dumps’ Gin. I’m so so very sorry.
   Much love to you all.

   Rest easy my friend and thank you for all the wisdom and good times you shared with me. My life wouldn’t be what it is today if I hadn’t met you. And the people I’ve known and loved wouldn’t be some of my dearest friends.
