   I was just sharing some of my memories of Lorraine with my kids this past weekend. Brittany and I were so lucky to have her as our extra grandparent growing up. All our love to Henk & the family.

    Oh Grandie I don’t know where to begin, you were always there for me as a child, giving me the love and comfort I needed. I remember it like it was yesterday, climbing up the stairs to your bedroom for you to show me your large porcelain doll collection. You taught me to be so gentle with them as they were most precious. Soon you brought me my own. I was so upset when over the years of playing with them (even when told not too) they eventually crumbled away. As time goes by I’ve realised the dolls are not what mattered to me, it was the smile on your face as you shared your hobby with me. Those moments will never crumble away.
