January 16, 2026 at 9:08 amEveryone at Roselodge will miss Maureen she was a person that gave so much to the Roselodge community. From volunteering serving the afternoon tea and for many years playing the piano entertaining the residents and staff. Then as a loved resident gave so much. Starting up the Roselodge choir giving so many Residents the opportunity and confidence with her caring no nonsense ways. I had the pleasure of knowing Maureen for the last 33 yrs. May you RIP Maureen xxxx

January 20, 2026 at 4:20 pmLoving thoughts to all the family. Shannon Burns’ tribute summed up beautifully how Maureen gave of herself and spread happiness through music. It was a privilege to play alongside Maureen in Theatrical Group shows and at the Golf Club. Maureen could accompany anyone, through all genres. RIP

January 22, 2026 at 11:49 amToday is the day we say goodbye to a incredible woman who gave joy, laughter,
music and entertainment and sunshine to all that knew and met her. I am privileged to have known her all my life and she was my Aunty Maureen. As a child I sat around the piano with her and Birt, Dulcie ,mum and dad and many more singing ‘Little Brown jug and by the light of the silvery moon and so many more. Wonderful happy childhood memories so I thank her so much for them and the friendship we developed as I got older. My goodness we had some talks and opinions on how the world was going,
She never complained or said a bad word about anyone, she had a big heart full of love. So goodbye for now Aunty Maureen and be embraced by all that love you and have passed. Forever in my heart. Tons of love always Kerry and Jack .

January 22, 2026 at 12:41 pmWe of The Salvation Army Wonthaggi are so saddened to not have Maureen in our lives anymore, she bought laughter, love, sage wisdom and her beautiful music. Many of her closest friend have gone to Glory ahead of her, our one joy is that we know we shall meet her again in the Kingdom above, where we can share once again love, laughter and music. She gave of herself fully and was loved fully in return, our thoughts and prayers will be with all of her family and friends today. Love your family from The Salvation Army Wonthaggi.
