Anwyn was my cousin from New Zealand of whom we were most proud. Although she had lived in Australia for most of her life we still kept in touch both with her coming over here and us visiting her on her farm in Corinella. We went with her on a trip to Tasmania which was most interesting from a family perspective, a trip which she treated us like royalty, but that was her nature. We have been sad at the way her life has been in the last few years, but most grateful to Gillian for her love and care of our dear cousin. We will miss her. Tim & Mary Long.

To Gillian and Anwyn’s family members – It was a sad day for the Corinella residents that knew Anwyn. Her network of acquaintances was vast as was her knowledge of local and environmental issues. She worked tirelessly for the Corinella Community in Anywn’s way. She was highly regarded not only locally but across the Region during her time on close to nearly 50 years in Corinella.
She shared stories and we laughed. I do miss her quirky ways. Regards Barbara

Anwyn was a great supporter of Adult, Community and Further Education. She was Chair of the Regional Council in Gippsland for many years. She kept me on my toes but I had great admiration for her and enjoyed working with her. A wonderful contributor with a good sense of humour. Rest in Peace Anwyn.

I met Anwyn when she joined the Board of South Gippsland Water, which she was on from 2001 to 2004. We continued to run into each other over the last 15 years, usually at various community events. A wonderful champion of community, she will be sorely missed.
