Such beautiful memories filled my heart from my teens, through my twenties, and even, in precious moments, throughout my thirties. We never lost our connection; it was a quiet, steady thread that held through the years.
I loved being welcomed into your home in Springvale and on the island — being so close to the golf course felt like a dream I was lucky enough to share with you.
When I recently heard of your passing, a wave of sorrow swept over me so completely that it took a long time to understand the world without you in it. Your advice, your love, your gentle pearls of wisdom have stayed with me, guiding me in ways you never fully knew.
Thank you, Betty, for being such an extraordinary human being — warm, wise, and endlessly kind.
