Dear Lyne and family, we’ve only known you for a relatively short period since moving in as your neighbours in Inverloch. Blair was always friendly and warm to us and he always had a fire in his belly about doing something which we admired greatly in him. I’ve lost count of the number of times I had to tow him out with my tractor when he got bogged in the ute or the mower and we always had a laugh about it together. We will miss him very much and we wish you our sincerest condolences – Simon, Karen, Ajax and Sprokit (who will miss his pats!)…

    Lyne,
My thoughts and heart are with you during this time. I’m so sorry for the loss of Blair as I know was he was special person in your life. He was not only just a gentleman to speak too, but a friend when he came in into our dealership to see what car he would get next ,
I will definitely miss his conversations and laughter when he popped in to say hello .
May the many happy memories that you made together be a consolation today and all the days ahead. I send you my sincere condolences and sympathies..

    Dear Lyne,
We cannot find the right words to express our sadness at the passing of Blair. Blair has been an exceptional and much valued friend to us over the last 40 years. We cannot be there with you today but will be ‘there’ virtually on the live stream.
Here is a little poem that may give you some comfort. It is called

“Do not stand at my grave and weep” by Mary Elizabeth Frye.

Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there.I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the light on ripening grain. I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the mornings hush, I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I did not die.
    Our love and thoughts always,
    Martin and Lyn XX
