Dad lead a very fullfilled life....... he spent his childhood at Murwillumbah and on the beaches at Coolangatta where he returned annually later in life. He went to Murwillumbah state school and Boarding School at Scott's College in Sydney before coming to Dandenong at age 21 to start his career as a Stock and Station Agent where he stayed until his passing at age 90. He met his adoring wife Anne in 1958 and had 4 children in 5 years. His love of farming never ended and with enormous respect for the land he developed enviable operations. He was instrumental in restructuring Alex Scott & Co., in 1992, inviting staff share holding and seeing the company grow from 3 offices to 10 offices and 4 associated offices around South West and Central Gippsland. He was a great supporter of Rotary and travelled the world with them. He was also a life member of the Dandenong Show Society and a great family man.
