We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Catherine at Wonthaggi Hospital,
on May 31, 2024.
Lifetime partner of Gary, loving mother of Samantha and Jason, grandmother to Jacinta, Ryah, Emma, Lucas and Tyson. mother-in-law to Rae and valued friend to Paul.
A wonderful lady gone too soon.
See you again some day, your loving and heartbroken husband, Gary.

The Funeral Service for Mrs. Catherine Mary Beard will be held at Handley and Anderson Chapel, 3085 Loch-Wonthaggi Road, Wonthaggi,
on WEDNESDAY (June. 12, 2024) commencing at 2:00pm
A Private Cremation will follow.

We feel so sad that we will no longer see Cathy’s bright happy smile when we met. She had wit and charm and could be feisty. We will miss her company.

Words cannot express how sad we are at the passing of our dear friend Cathy.
We met Cathy & Gary when we first moved to Wonthaggi 9 years ago and quickly formed a strong friendship. We will miss her warmth, generosity and sense of humour.
Cathy touched many in her lifetime and her legacy will live on in her children and grandchildren.

I’m so saddened by the news of Cathy’s passing, and can’t imagine the sense of loss felt by so many, however for Gary and her family I have only the most sincere condolences and deep sympathy, because surely their loss is the most keenly felt. I’m hoping you find comfort and healing in each other, and in remembering the thousands of wonderful memories you created together. Cathy set a standard and an example of how to be a warm and vital woman in this world, and she is sadly missed.
