ZINN-ZINNENBURG – Charlotte
Passed away peacefully at home
on Feb. 9, 2025.

Charlotte was known to roar about the island in her old Subaru, to walk her dog Lippy and play with her grandson Piju. She was the beloved mother of the writer, Prof. Khadija Zinnenburg Carroll and friend of Archie Bunker. Before she moved to Phillip Island in her last years she was an actress in European theatres, a gallerist in New York, traveller and collector. She is remembered by all who met her around the world as an extraordinary person. Her house in Princeton Avenue, Cape Woolamai will become an artist residency, where a wake will be held on March 1st from 3 pm.
