November 4, 2024 at 9:59 amSincere sympathy to all of Clive’s family. He was such a caring man. Memories go back to my childhood days in Broome Crescent and having your lovely mum Winnie as our neighbour Can recall you popping over to our house with some vegies and eggs from your farm and the odd rabbit to eat. You always had time for a cuppa and a chat… Rest peacefully Clive.

November 4, 2024 at 11:23 amGreeting Mr Dobson with his wonderful smile, ordering fish and chips at the Hunter Street Dairy, with him saying it was his turn to give Mrs Dobson a night off cooking, we would sit on the seat and have a reminisce about the Wonthaggi community, you always knew that you were with a true local identity.
A caring man that made you feel lucky to be a local and to know him was special.
Cheerio!
All the family in my thoughts and prayers.

November 8, 2024 at 1:19 amOur sincere condolences to the Dobson Family. Clive was such a constant part of my life growing up at Cape. He grew up with my Mum Sally, who owned the shop at Cape Paterson.
We were so happy that you joined us for Mums Memorial a few years back, and we got to reminisce and share lots of stories from the past. Our family grew up with Clive who was regarded as a much loved and supportive friend to our family and the wider community. I especially enjoyed the days of my childhood on the quad bikes at the farm and watching the cows being milked. Clive and Hilda’s milk made the best milkshakes in our shop for many years. Like so many, Clive slashed our block at Cape from when the estate first settled. How lucky we were to have good friends and neighbours like you.
Bless you Clive, may you rest in peace with your beloved Hilda.
