I first met Deborah and her husband Kevin Scott around about 1990 when I started playing golf at Leongatha Golf Club. My wife Carmel (deceased 2014) and myself became very close friends with Kevin and Deborah. They used to love putting on parties and get togethers with golfing friends at their 10 acre property in Leongatha South. Deborah was a beautiful and caring, vibrant lady and a wonderful host with a wonderful sense of humour. I will certainly miss you Deborah and Kevin a wonderul couple that were taken to soon. R.I.P my beautiful friends.

I am very saddened to discover that Deborah passed away recently. Deborah was my first wife, a lovely and wonderful person. Although we parted, we had remained friends over the years, Deb never forgot to send me birthday and Xmas cards with all the news of her family and she always got a phone call from me in return. I will miss her very much and hope she’s found eternal peace in a better place. Rest in peace Deb. Peter Coutts

I met Deb when she was married to my brother Peter Coutts. They lived at Sandringham and she taught at the local private school. She was such a bright spark, full of knowledge and fun. Once in my late teens I went on an archaeological dig with them. My gosh it was hard work but Deb looked after me. She and my mum Caroline were very close and we visited often. When Deb and Peter went their separate ways we kept in touch. In my 2nd year of uni I lived with Deb and her boarders. She was a wonderful role model and I loved our time together. That was when I first met Kevin. They made a lovely couple. For many years after we kept in touch, even visiting them with my own clan at their farm at Leongatha. I was so sorry to hear of her passing and that of Kevin, just after we found out of their move to Inverloch. I will treasure our time together. She loved her family and the life they made for themselves. RIP Deborah. Love alwAys Heather ❤️
