February 5, 2022 at 10:35 amAunty Nance Brown
How do you describe such a wonderful person. I am already missing her phone calls a couple times a week, she even rang the morning she was getting transferred to Frankston. She knew every body and was an outstanding person in the community.
She always had time to talk to everybody and was constantly cooking for functions and helping in any way she could. She touched everybody’s heart and that is expressed in all these tributes her friends have posted here. Her health issues have been hard on her and we know that she has found peace as she has joined, her brother and sister, husband and family who have passed before her.
God bless you Aunty Nance.

February 7, 2022 at 4:45 pmSending our love and heartfelt blessings to Trudi, Steve, Glen & Sam, Scott & Merryn and Grant and extended family. Your loss, is felt so so deeply by our family. My faith mentor, extra mum, confidant, and a extremely valued friend to so many will be so sadly missed. Your wonderful life of “inclusion” of everyone, your passionate and engaging interest in people, life, faith, looking out for others in your community is a remarkable testimony; that has touched the lives of countless people. Thank you Nancy for simply being such a uniquely special YOU.. What a privilege to have had our lives touched by yours . “A friend loves at all times” Proverbs 17:17

February 7, 2022 at 7:25 pmTo Trudy, Glen, Scott , Grant and your families, so sad to hear of the passing of your Mum.
It’s so rare to grow up with the same neighbours these days, and we were truly privileged to have the Brown family next door for decades. Nancy was a very special person, always bright, chirpy and willing to help.
It was a pleasure to run into Nancy on visits back to the Burra in later years , she was always keen to keep up with the events of our lives .
Nancy will be missed by so many, but we will all have many memories to hold on to.
Thinking of you all,
Brian & Mandi Hancock and family

February 7, 2022 at 11:27 pmMy heart hurts with all of those who have been blessed to have such a wonderful woman as my Aunty Nance in their life. I know she has touched many people and will be sorely missed. Her kindness, compassion and support reached far in the community and laughter and joy lifted us all up. I felt so welcomed and loved in her presence and have fond memories of her and her cheeky little dog Bart who had a such a large personality, just like his owner. Even though I have never lived in Victoria she has always made me feel connected to her family and called me often to share in life’s ups and down. Sending much love to all of her descendants and friends. Forever holding her smile and joy in my heart xo
