Ernest “George” Oliver

George age 83,
passed away in Inverloch after a long
battle with Parkinson’s.
He was born in Yarrawonga to Ernest John Henry and Elizabeth (Parker) Oliver.
George was preceded in death by his wife Valda Elaine (Bates) mother of his children, his parents and his sister Joan Elizabeth Goodings.
He is survived by his wife Ann Elizabeth (Fitzsimons) of New Zealand, his children Geoffrey Malcolm (Karen) Oliver and Trudy Michelle (Harry) Evans and his brother
Trevor Alexander Oliver.
Grandfather to Matthew, Cameron, Ellica and Todd and great grandfather to Hunter.
George was a teacher at Swinburne College of TAFE and was a blood donor
throughout his lifetime.
He was an avid reader, keen photographer and enjoyed walking and wood working.
