Paddy. I’m thinking of the good times because the present day hurts. You drove me to the Registry Office when I became your sister-in-law 51 years ago. You were the ‘life guard’ as I nervously bathed my first baby Skye. You used Norm, Brian and me as guinea pigs when you were planning guitar lessons for your students. And just a few years ago we both finally won the grandma jackpot. You were a generous and gracious host and a soul mate. I will certainly miss you. Valé Paddy.

My beloved Auntie Paddy, you will be so missed.
The memories I have of our families holidaying together, and hearing you playing music which you spoke so passionately about, left cherished impressions. You made me feel so loved and included as part of your family when I came to your various homes so you were easy to love back. You were there for many firsts in my childhood… when I experienced my first music concert, first trampolining experience, first roller-skate in the kitchen and first ‘dink’ on a bike to name a few.
I am honoured to have had both you and my mother as such strong creative female role models in my life. My heart knows joy for having known you, and holds immense love for you always Auntie Pad, as it does for all your family.
    Thank you.
    Your 4th.
