Ray’s funeral service will be live-streamed on WEDNESDAY (August 26th, 2020) at 11.00 a.m.
Unfortunately, due to the current restrictions, Ray’s funeral is by invitation only.

Ray welcomed me into his home and life as Shan’s friend and always made me feel like part of the clan. He was another Dad about as I grew and likely got under his feet, but he put up with me and my constant presence in his life. I will be forever grateful for knowing him an incredibly generous man. I loved to listen to his tales and view close up the love he had for Andre, his girls and precious grandkids. I will miss you Ray. Hugs Chooksie

Ray was a lovely, grumpy, sarcastic, funny and knowledgeable man, well loved by most, well feared by the youth of today on the v-line bus when they tried to pull the wool over his eyes or forgot their manners. A man of few words when you first meet him but get to know him and warm him to a subject and you had a mate for life.

To Andre, Mel, Pete, Shannon & family, our most sincere condolences, love and hugs.

I met Ray when I was twelve and travelling on the vline bus as a little girl carrying her saddle between homes. He always made sure that I was on and off the bus safely and never left without making sure I was safely with a parent, I will always be grateful to him. Little did I know then that one of his daughters would end up to be one of my closest friends. Shan, sending you love and strength, Jodie xx
