The Funeral Service for Mr. Rodney Robert McAllister will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Bass on WEDNESDAY (Feb. 19, 2020) commencing at 1.00pm.
A Private Cremation will follow.

Late of Glen Forbes and Monbulk, passed away peacefully at home on 31st January, 2020,
aged 81.
Much loved brother to Ian (dec.) and Gordon, brother-in-law to Gail.
Loved Uncle to Reuben, Leon and their families.
Sadly missed by all his family.

February 17, 2020 at 12:43 pmIt was with great sadness that we had to advise the membership of the passing of Mr. Rod McAllister. Rod was the caretaker at Bass River Simmentals and was a long serving member/volunteer to not only the Simmental breed, but a big part of the Royal Melbourne Show. Rod looked after the “Simmental Hut” at the old show grounds, for which he ran each year. Even being present when the Rt. Hon. Malcolm Fraser opened the Simmental building back in September 1980. A marvellous man, may he RIP from the Australian Simmental Breeders Association and Victorian Branch.
