To Terra & family, whoever wrote that only the good die young, must have been writing about Stephen. He was a wonderful husband, father and papa to his clan. He shared wonderful childhood memories with me that I will treasure for my life time. Just as all who knew and loved him, will cherish those special memories and have them locked away in their collective hearts and minds. Vale Stephen.

Dear Terra and family, I was shocked and very sad to hear the dreadful news that Steve had died, he was such a good man. He worked so hard for the school, to give our children the best opportunities possible, for which ours and so many other families are grateful. Personally his advice was a great help to me as I prepared to retire. I’ll remember him with respect and gratitude. I hope you can find some comfort in these condolences and our best wishes.

Dearest Theresita and family, I met Steve on our Grand European Contiki tour in 1987. I was just sorting out some letters from my keep sake box and found many letters that your dear husband wrote to me back in 1991. Theresita – you and Steve both came to my 21st birthday at at restaurant in the World Trade Centre Melbourne. It is with great sorrow that I have only just learnt today about the passing of Steve. Sending you all a massive hug and sympathy. All my love Ange Matthews
