On Friday 25th July we said goodbye to an extraordinary man, Hoopy Deenen.
Dearly loved husband to Val.  Devoted Dad and father-in-law to Jason & Maree, Michelle & Nathan.  Adored Pa to Ayla, Lachie, Zali, Mia, Sage, Darby and Finn.  Cherished Great Grandpa to Elias.  Dearly Loved brother to Tony, Herman, Hank, Will, Mia, Liz and Jo (dec.)

He was full of kindness with a sharp sense of humour that stayed with him right to the end.
His strength was the foundation of our family.
We are so grateful for every moment
we had with him.
So incredibly loved, a life well lived

A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Mr. Hubertus (Hoopy) Deenen
will be held at the Leongatha Bowls Club, Hughes Street, Leongatha
on MONDAY (August 4, 2025) commencing at 11:00am.
Privately Cremated

    So sorry to hear the passing of Hoopy. I have so many special memories and stories working along with Hoopy for 10 years or so. He will be greatly missed person by everyone who he made contact with him. Sorry I carn’t be there but will watch it on livestream.
