Mary, you were a special member of our home maintenance team. You were a competent handler of garden machinery, whilst often demonstrating your impish ways. Still, often in our thoughts. Ruth Vassiliou.

I remember Mary taking our new born baby, Xavier, from my arms outside St Laurence’s after Mass in 1982. He was so safe in her arms. She had so much love to give. Loving memories.

Our deepest condolences to Mary’s family and friends. Memories of our carefree childhood together in Davison St will always bring a smile. All of the families looked out for us children which made it a great place to grow up. Keep dancing in heaven Mary, you will be missed.

Mez, I can still see you dancing in the lounge at White rd, the biggest smile your face as you busted out the moves, singing along to ABBA, those are the memories that I will hold closest to my heart.
No day was ever complete without your cheeky smile, sass and sense of humour. The world changed on Sunday, but mine will always be blessed knowing that you were a very big part of it, even if for only such a small part of your life.
Run free Mez, give Ange a hug from all of us, you will be missed beyond words xxxx

I was One of Marys Taxi Drivers and it was always fun picking her up with Jenny and Josephine. I’d find little ways to make sure she enjoyed her trips because I know taxis are a big part of there life. Every trip I’d go “not you again” and she would always go “OH NOT YOU” and giggle. I’d follow it up with how lucky are you being in my car and the response was always different but she always smiled and giggle. She always loved annoying Jenny and Josephine and I think that was her way I’ve saying thank you to them aswell. I got to see Mary a few days before passing away and even after losing alot of her memory, when I surprised her she still remembered who I was which ment alot.

Rip Mary and Thank you for the laughs over the last 5-8 years!

    Chris/Wally
