Dearly beloved husband of Carol Lowey (nee Malcolm) (dec.) for 50 years.
Dedicated brother to David Lowey (dec).
Cherished father to Rick, Daniel and Peter.
Beloved father-in-law to Rhea and Bethany,
adored Grandpa to Phoenix and Cedar.

May 7, 2024 at 11:49 amMy deepest sympathy for the loss of Captain Dick Lowey. He was one of the first Master’s I sailed under upon starting my career at sea. I will never forget his kind spirit and how he always looked after his crew onboard. We used to chat often about our shared passion for fishing. It was a privilege to sail with Captain Dick and he will always be remembered.

Our deepest condolences on the passing of Richard.
Richard and Carol were wonderful, kind, decent people and a devoted couple and loving, supportive parents. I have wonderful memories of all the dinners and card games, chats and laughs we had together over many years and the times the children played together. Such a sad loss and hard to bear so soon after Carol’s passing.
