A wake will be held on FRIDAY (May 15, 2026) from 12pm – 3pm at the Cape Paterson Surf Life Saving Club, Legge Way, Cape Paterson.
We encourage all who had the divine luck of knowing Sue
to attend and share in saying farewell.
A private family burial will be held beforehand.

So deeply beloved.
Sue lived the fullest life, never sitting still, a magnet for great friendships, and was an example to many in how to live and love.
Her generosity of spirit, her kindness, her calm, was radiant.
Adored wife, mother, sister, teacher, surfer, and friend. Sue passed surrounded by family in her home, at peace after a 3 year battle that like everything she did, she made look easy. Her final years were lived much the same as life before, travelling the world for a new adventure, making vivid memories with friends and families over incredible meals, never slowing down.
She has taught us all so much,
we carry her with us.

I just found out about this today from Jacinta. My thoughts go out to you all. We all knew Sue as an incredible person ever since she was young. Sue was the epitome of class in my view, in the best possible way. A good friend, neighbour and all around kind and thoughtful person. Someone we all thought a lot of, as with all of the Yeodene Merediths. Rest in peace Sue. Deepest sympathies and thoughts from Paddy O’Leary.
